Changes to bus routes 1020 and 1021: New operator since 1 August

Since 1 August, bus routes 1020 and 1021 have no longer been operated by KVG Stade GmbH & Co. KG. With immediate effect, these routes are being operated by the MEW consortium. The decision to change the operator was taken by the LNVG, the relevant licensing authority. For passengers, this means that KVG is no longer the point of contact for enquiries, suggestions or complaints regarding routes 1020 and 1021. Please contact MEW directly in future. KVG stop signs can still be seen at some stops. These will remain in place as the stops are also served by other KVG routes. The signage therefore does not indicate which operator runs routes 1020 and 1021. Important for passengers: The CuxhavenTicket remains valid without restriction on MEW buses. There are therefore no changes to ticket acceptance when using routes 1020 and 1021. Route 1024 is not affected by this change and will continue to be operated by the KVG as usual during school term time.
