We also offer the Deutschlandticket as a chip card. Simply choose this option in our Online shop from. You will then receive your chip card within 1 to 2 weeks.

The Deutschlandticket as a job ticket
Support your employees in reaching their workplace in a climate-friendly way by offering them the Jobticket for the Deutschlandticket as a benefit.
The price of the Jobticket is 5% cheaper than the regular Deutschland-Ticket with the same fare conditions, so it is also valid for regional and local transport by bus and train throughout Germany.
As an employer, you pay an amount that you can choose yourself, but it must be at least 25%.
You enter into a co-operation agreement with us, and the billing takes place between you, as the employer, and us. The costs that remain for the employees are passed on as part of payroll accounting.

The Deutschlandticket allows passengers to use all local transport (bus and regional rail services) throughout Germany for 58 euros per month.
You can buy the Deutschlandticket at any time, even during the current month. To purchase the ticket, you must take out a subscription, which is automatically renewed. However, it can be cancelled monthly. The Deutschlandticket as a subscription contract can also be purchased via the homepages/apps and online shops of the transport companies and transport associations.

The Deutschlandticket is valid nationwide on local public transport buses and trains.
The Deutschlandticket is not valid on long-distance transport and special means of transport such as:
- DB long-distance transport and Flixtrain
- Long-distance bus lines (like Flixbus)
- Special/leisure transport
The Deutschlandticket can only be purchased as a subscription and costs 58 euros per month. It is initially valid per calendar month. The subscription can be cancelled monthly. Cancellation must be made by the 10th of the month for the following month.
The Deutschlandticket is valid for the calendar month in which you purchase it. It is automatically extended by one month at a time unless it is cancelled by the 10th of the previous month. Cancellation is only possible in the online shop via the customer account, not by telephone or email/letter.

No, the Deutschlandticket is a subscription that can be purchased by anyone aged 6 and over at a price of 58 euros.
The Deutschlandticket is personalised. A photo ID or comparable personal document must be presented upon request. An order confirmation or screenshot of the ticket is not valid as authorisation to travel and will not be recognised as a valid ticket.
Subsequent personal presentation of the Deutschlandticket is possible at the fare office/administration of the transport company or transport association within one week. If the valid ticket is presented in good time, the increased fare will be reduced.

If you have your ticket on your smartphone, you must ensure that it works properly and that you can provide proof of a ticket at a ticket inspection. If you have lost your mobile phone or there is a transmission error, you are also obliged to buy a new ticket elsewhere.

Questions about our online shop
We recommend that all customers from our old shop who still receive their tickets via the FahrPlaner app switch to our new shop. The previous method of issuing tickets via the FahrPlaner will soon no longer be available.
All existing customers have received an e-mail with instructions on how to switch to the new shop.
You can then load your ticket directly into their smartphone wallet, so the FahrPlaner app is no longer necessary.
The "Wallet" is an application on your smartphone in which all types of tickets can be stored. The ticket can be easily accessed via a link in an email and is then available at any time, even without an internet connection.
You can take out a new subscription at any time, both for the current month and for the next month. It may take 1-2 working days for your order to be checked and the ticket approved.
