This accessibility statement applies to the website www.kvg-bus.de.
We endeavour to implement our website in accordance with the legal provisions of the European Accessibility Act (EAA). This corresponds to the extensive standard of the "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1" (WCAG 2.1 to Level AA).
Preparation of the declaration and compatibility of the requirements
The accessibility statement was last updated on 26 June 2025. The accessibility assessment was carried out as part of a self-assessment. Based on this analysis, the website only partially fulfils the aforementioned requirements, as some content is not yet fully accessible.
Non-accessible content and restrictions
Videos
Our videos on the website have not been recorded according to the new standards and do not contain subtitles. This will be taken into account for future projects.
Images with alternative text
The creation of alternative texts is currently in progress.
Dynamic content
FAQ accordions or other dynamic content are not fully operable with a screen reader.
Image contrast and adjustable step size
Sufficient image contrast is available in most places on our website. The explicit setting of a high image contrast and font size is currently being planned.
Heading structure
As far as possible, a structured heading structure can be found on the website. Despite this, we are still in the process of testing in order to deliver a complete result.
PDF documents
Our timetables and route maps are not barrier-free.
Links
We do not guarantee that links to external websites are barrier-free.
Readability
We have tried to formulate our content in simple language. A translation into plain language is not currently planned.
