Favourite bus driver 2026: Nominate your favourite now!

Who ensures a pleasant journey with a smile? Who remains patient and helpful even in stressful situations? Every day, our bus drivers are on the road for you and make your journey safe and pleasant. That's why we are taking part in the nationwide „Favourite bus driver 2026“ campaign. Now it's up to you: tell your personal bus story and nominate your favourite bus driver. You can share your experiences at www.lieblingsbusfahrerin.de until 31 May 2026 and show your appreciation to the people behind the wheel. A jury will select the most impressive stories from all the entries and choose the favourite bus drivers of 2026. The people who submit the winning stories can also look forward to special recognition. The initiative is supported by the PRO BAHN passenger association, DB Regio, the Association of German Transport Companies (VDV) and the Federal Association of German Bus Companies (bdo), among others. It recognises the work of around 100,000 bus drivers in Germany. The competition was launched in 2023 and has been a resounding success ever since: every year, over 2,300 stories are submitted that show how much small gestures can make a difference in everyday bus life. 👉 Join in and say thank you - nominate your favourite bus driver now!

Together against violence - Together we set an example

This year, our Buxtehude-based company is supporting the „Orange Days 2025“ campaign organised by the Hanseatic city of Buxtehude. From 25 November to 10 December 2025, cities, organisations and companies around the world will be drawing attention to violence against women. We would also like to contribute to making this important issue more visible and sending out a clear signal. During this period, around 30 buses with the message „Stop violence against women“ will be travelling on our route network. We are also publicising the campaign on passenger television. In this way, we reach many people every day on their way to work, school or during their leisure time - and remind them that violence is never acceptable. As a transport company, we bear responsibility for the safety of our passengers and our employees. This also includes drawing attention to social grievances and supporting those affected. Violence often takes place in secret, which is precisely why it is important to talk about it publicly and take a stand. Together with the Hanseatic City of Buxtehude and many other partners, we are sending out a clear signal: Violence against women must have no place in our society. The Orange Days in Buxtehude are organised by the Equal Opportunities Office of the Hanseatic City of Buxtehude, SOFIA shelters for women in Buxtehude and the StoP © project Buxtehude together with various alliance partners.
