With effect from 1 January 2027, the Hamburg Transport Association (hvv) will be adjusting certain fares. Many frequently used tickets will remain unchanged.
Fares for local travel, as well as single and day tickets for Hamburg AB / 2 Ringe, will remain unchanged. Fares for journeys within a single zone will also remain the same.
This will change from January
The single short-distance ticket and the city transport ticket will cost 2.20 euros instead of 2.10 euros in future. The city transport ticket is valid, amongst other places, on local transport services in Stade and Buxtehude.
A number of other ticket prices will also be adjusted. For example, the price of a single ticket for 3 rings will rise from 7.00 euros to 7.40 euros, whilst the corresponding day ticket will increase from 14.00 euros to 14.80 euros. Prices for various children’s tickets will also be increased.
Online discount not applicable
Another change relates to digital ticket purchases: the current online discount on single and day tickets will be discontinued at the turn of the year. This means that the standard ticket prices will apply in future in the hvv app, the hvv switch app and the hvv online shop.
Weekly ticket to be discontinued
Due to the recent low level of demand, the hvv weekly ticket will no longer be available from 2027.
