On Sunday, 30 August 2026, is the Buxtehude town centre because of the Old Town Run blocked. The lines 2040, 2105 and 2650 (Elbe Cycle Tour Bus II) are therefore taking alternative routes.
Line 2040
The service runs between „Buxtehude, Poststraße“ and „Buxtehude, railway station (south)“ a diversion via Hansestraße and Stader Street. It travels back in the opposite direction accordingly, and from „Buxtehude, ZOB“ continuing along the regular route.
❌ The bus stops „Buxtehude, Parkstraße“, „Buxtehude, railway station (forecourt)“ and „Buxtehude, railway station (North)“ cannot be operated in either direction. „Buxtehude, ZOB“is also cancelled on the route towards the station.”.
✅ The stop „Buxtehude, railway station (south)“ is also served.
Route 2105
The route starts at „Buxtehude, ZOB“ and continues via Viverstrasse, Harbour Bridge, Hansestraße and Stader Street to the stop „Buxtehude, railway station (south)“ and then continue along the normal route. In the opposite direction, the diversion takes passengers back to the central bus station (ZOB) accordingly.
❌ The bus stops „Buxtehude, Parkstraße“ and „Buxtehude, railway station (North)“ cannot be operated.
Route 2650 (Elbe Cycle Tour Bus II)
The route runs between Jork and Buxtehude, including all journeys via Estebrügge. In Buxtehude, „Buxtehude, Harbour Bridge“ and „Buxtehude, Poststraße“ is served. The line then runs via Hansestraße and Stader Street according to „Buxtehude, railway station (south)“.
❌ Towards the station, „Buxtehude, ZOB“ is not supported.
