Who ensures a pleasant journey with a smile? Who remains patient and helpful even in stressful situations? Our bus drivers are on the road for you every day, making your journey safe and pleasant.
That's why we are taking part in the nationwide „Favourite Bus Driver 2026“ campaign. Now it's up to you: tell your personal bus story and nominate your favourite bus driver.
Until 31 May 2026, you can post your experiences on www.lieblingsbusfahrerin.de and show your appreciation for the people behind the wheel. A jury will select the most impressive stories from all the entries and choose the favourite bus drivers of 2026. The entrants of the winning stories can also look forward to special recognition.
The initiative is supported by the PRO BAHN passenger association, DB Regio, the Association of German Transport Companies (VDV) and the Federal Association of German Bus Companies (bdo), among others. It recognises the work of around 100,000 bus drivers in Germany.
The competition was launched in 2023 and has been a resounding success ever since: every year, over 2,300 stories are submitted that show how much small gestures can make a difference in everyday bus life.
