Since 1 August, the bus routes have been 1020 and 1021 is no longer operated by KVG Stade GmbH & Co. KG. With immediate effect, the routes will be operated by the MEW Consortium. The decision to change operators was taken by the LNVG as the competent licensing authority taken.
For passengers, this means that the KVG will operate routes 1020 and 1021 no longer the contact person for any questions, suggestions or complaints. Please contact MEW directly in future.
KVG stop signs can still be seen at some stops. These will remain in place as the stops are also served by other KVG routes. The signage therefore does not indicate which operator runs routes 1020 and 1021.
Important information for passengers: The Cuxhaven Ticket remains valid without restriction on MEW buses as well. Consequently, for journeys on routes 1020 and 1021, this means No changes to ticket recognition. The line 1024 is not affected by the change and will continue to be served by KVG as usual during school hours.
