Due to the current tense personnel situation and the ongoing shortage of skilled labour, we have, in coordination with the District of Lüneburg, emergency timetables have been drawn up for Lüneburg city transport. The aim is to continue to provide passengers with a reliable and predictable service.
The emergency timetables on 11 October 2025 in force and apply by the end of the year.

A ring service is offered every hour with a connection to the metronom in the direction of Hamburg.

There is a 2-hourly service with connections to the metronom. Alternatively, passengers can also use the 5007 line.
The line runs every hour with a connection to the metronom. The school-related arrivals and departures remain unchanged.
The journeys at 7.04 and 7.34 in the direction of ZOB are cancelled. In the opposite direction, the journeys at 6.45 and 7.15 in the direction of Eintracht Sportplatz will be cancelled.
An hourly service with connections to the metronom will be set up on line 5013 from Monday to Saturday. Alternatively, passengers can use line 5200, as well as some journeys on line 5202 to the ZOB.
Reduction of the service (Lüneburg to Wendisch-Evern) to every 30 minutes.
There will be an hourly service with a connection to the outdoor pool. Passengers can also change to lines 5012 or 5014 with stops in the immediate vicinity.
